What to Wear to Homecoming

What to Wear to Homecoming

It's been a minute since we went to Homecoming, so we asked our Instagram followers to give us the 411 on homecoming makeup, traditions, and all the things. Read on for how three different high school students from across the country got ready for their close-ups.

“Since my school is only 3 years old, we don’t really have a tradition, but we sure are creating one. I guess our 'tradition' is to love on everyone you see at the dance, meaning you compliment everyone you encounter. Whether you know them or not, nobody leaves the building without a compliment, and I gotta say, it’s pretty awesome."

"For my makeup I love a natural finish, which is why I ADORE the Firm Flesh Thickstick! It’s so creamy and the shade range is amazing. I used Fleshy Lips in Chew for my blush (probably my favorite product from Flesh!), and I applied Hot Sauce Lip Gloss in the shade In petal confetti. I had so much fun, I even won Homecoming Queen!”

“I’m a senior at a high school in Eastern Ohio. For my homecoming this year, I went for a flushed pink vibe with my makeup. I used Hot Sauce Lip Gloss in To the window, and Tender Flesh Blush in Pulse. They were so smooth and creamy and glided right on the skin: I barely had to re-apply the gloss and the blush stayed on all night!"

"Every year for homecoming, my friends and I get together for a potluck dinner and then carpool to the dance. Everyone works super hard to make Homecoming look spectacular, and this year’s theme was Neverland from Peter Pan.”

“My high school in Atlanta, GA doesn’t have a football team, so we have a fall dance in lieu of a traditional homecoming dance. I wore a neutral plaid dress, and for makeup I did a natural glam look with a pop of fall color. For this look I used the Pure Flesh Liquid Foundation in combination with the Fresh Flesh Illuminating Primer to give my face a natural glow without too much coverage.”
